I often write in First Person, for this blog is a reflection of my beliefs and values, and I find myself repeating my thoughts and the same scriptures in successive essays because someone may be reading an essay for the first time. My faith is very personal, so when it comes to counting my blessings, they’re too numerous to list — many every day — and they come from unexpected sources, for little in life is predictable. In every moment of every day, we’re making choices — what to do first thing in the morning, how to answer that question — endless, and we learn to pay the consequences of our words and actions as we experience them or end up with a mountain of regrets.
We all deal with those anyway — remorse and feelings of failure — we muddle through, trying to believe that “everything’s gonna be alright.” As a child my Jesus told me that “the meek will inherit the Earth,” that we should love others as we love ourselves, even more-so, placing another’s needs before our own, and that we’re to endure Life’s hardships as best we can. Rav Shaul (Paul) told us that endurance nurtures Self-discipline, and that tolerance, forgiveness, kindness, and generosity will help us grow Self-confidence and strengthen one’s character. GOOD things come to those who trust H-M (Havah-Mik’el), for we’re witness to and partakers in our Creator’s Divine Plan. As we seek to be happy in every minute, concentrating on HERE and NOW, we find that when we’re a blessing to others, we, too, are blessed.
Hebrews 10:31 says, “It’s a terrifying thing to be placed in the HANDS of the LIVING G-D,” but those who believe that H-S (Havah-Shimon) WORD is LOVE spend their lives as blessings to others, with NO FEAR, in awe of H-S Rewards. HE (HavahEli) will continue to bless us even through our sin, for HE knows our weaknesses, and carries our iniquities, having sacrificed H-S Anointed One on Passover’s Altar of Torah. G-D in ONE Spirit was sent seven times, Alpha to Omega the same, Seven Spirits to live among us in Human flesh (Revelation 1:4; 3:1; 4:5; 5:6). We can only guess the first Six, but a male Jew, Messiah Yeshua (Christ Jesus), is as the Great Prophet Muhammad said, Kalimetohu, a Direct Path to Paradise, also being the Seventh and Last Spirit Who will redeem us.
Yeshua gave us H-S WORD — LOVE! It’s a Message for the Ages, every religion that ever worshipped a Higher Power, our Karmic Universe, or a Supreme Being Who sees and controls everything, Who is called many Names in all of Earth’s languages, my Adonai Tz’va-ot, El Shaddai, HE Who Provides. In John 12:47-48 Yeshua said that there would be some people who won’t believe that he’s the Promised Messiah, Isaiah’s Light to everyone in the world, but that he Spoke a WORD to judge others, hence the First Six were also sent for Soul Salvation. First and foremost, we’re to love our Creator, HE Who gave us LIFE and Their Image (Genesis 1:26-27), and love every other person as we love our most beloved, being a blessing to everyone we encounter, as Yeshua did while he was here, every time HE was here.
Messiah Yeshua accepted everyone in Brotherly Love, regardless of color, gender, nationality, religion or politics, and he gave Holy Service to anyone in need, usually by miracles not seen since the days of Moses. The Positive Energy of G-D’s LOVE flowed from him to heal and to raise the dead, no doubt exhausting him, physically and psychically. He could heal from afar, and after his death and resurrection he appeared and disappeared before their eyes, then on the 40th day he was taken up into the Bright Light above. (Were there colors, as at Fatima and Medugorje? Read Essay #49.) 10 days later, on Shavu’ot, that the Christians call Pentecost, H-S Holy Ghost manifested in Fire above the heads and into the Souls of Anointed ones. H-S Power is spread into us undiminished as we accept Messiah Yeshua as our God of Soul Salvation.
As for me personally, my existence on Planet Earth in this flesh and blood body is revealed in King David’s 23rd Psalm, yet by today’s standards, sheep are lowly creatures with no minds of their own, doing only what their Shepherd wants them to do, being easily steered and manipulated. But I’m a sheep because I know my Master’s Voice through the four Gospels of B’rit Hadashah (New Testament), and I will follow Messiah Yeshua in every moment of every day, counting my blessings and striving to be a blessing to others, a willing servant to anyone in need. H-S Holy Ghost is my Comforter as well as my Provider, alive inside me, and I’m strong, with NO FEAR, never intimidated by Evil Forces who try to subdue me.
So every morning I say and think to myself: The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want. (For anything, for El Shaddai provides for all my needs.) HE gives me soft, green pastures to lie down upon. HE leads me to fresh, still waters. (HE gives me comfortable beds where I can sleep, and water and sustenance for my body.) HE restores my Soul. HE guides me into Paths of Righteousness for H-S Namesake. (Messiah Yeshua, HE Who is Jesus from my childhood, is always with me, carrying me through everything to keep me whole and secure.)
Even though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I will fear no Evil, for HE is with me. H-S Rod and H-S Staff, they comfort me. (Several times I’ve faced death, and H-S Omniscience gave the doctors who saved my life the right “tools” to heal. I may not be aware of when I could have died, or even remember any harm, but Messiah Yeshua saves me, time and again, and comforts me.) HE prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies. (All my favorite foods are spread out before me, but I can’t see the faces of my enemies in the darkness beyond, nor do I wish to see who they are.)
HE anoints my head with Oil (of Honor. When I’ve been honored by others I’ve tried to handle it with honesty and humility.) My cup runs over (with Blessings, too numerous to list, first among them the people in my life that I see every day and those who’re dear to my heart, some that I talk with often and some that I don’t talk with very often.) Surely Goodness and Mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will live in the House of G-D forever. (Goodness and Mercy always follow me, and continue to bless me. I may not attend a religious service regularly, but the House of G-D will live in me forever.)
Christians, live and let live, for although we’re of mixed bloodlines, especially here in America, DNA proves that we’re the same, Homo sapiens Beings of Planet Earth. The Christian world has always detested the Jews, saying they should be punished for rejecting Christ and persecuting his talmideem (disciples), but they were driven out of their homeland and ostracized, yet maintained their piety. The Prophets explain that G-D will turn H-S Head for only a short time, but throughout the centuries, they continued to be blessed, with a Promise of T’shuvah. They prospered, becoming bankers and educators, and Christians were jealous of their prosperity. Evil Forces blamed Jews for any disease or calamity and, as in Prague and Auschwitz, they slaughtered millions of them for unreasonable falsehoods.
Yet Yeshua’s words and actions were their own, as he was theirs thousands of years before Christians made him ours, being fulfillment of Torah and all that came before in Noah’s Brotherhood of LOVE. John wrote in Revelation 7:1-8 that 144,000 Jews, 12,000 from each of Jacob’s 12 bloodlines, will be counted as Messiah’s own on that Last Great Day of Judgement. If we’re good Christians, we’ll love his roots as well as his fruit, and we’ll stop fearing and demeaning Jews in today’s society, but respect them for their endurance and strength of character. Isaiah 2:3 says, “Let’s go up to the Mountain of Adonai Elohenu, to the House of the G-D of Jacob,” for Jews will teach us H-S Ways, and in unity we will receive H-S Blessings, finding LOVE in Yeshua’s Promise of Eternal Ecstasy.
To those of you disputing about Yeshua, I say, come, let’s gather together our wives and your wives, our children and your children, and together we will call down the Wrath of El Ah on all liars. Qu’ran 3:61
